I see the sun shining off the morning dew, it enlightens me.
I hear the chatter of students grazing the track, having fun with friends.
I smell smoke coming off of the worker’s golf cart, a bit musky.
I taste fresh air in my throat, it catches me off- guard.
I touch the cold bleachers as chills run through my body.
I feel the cold air blowing on my face, I should’ve brought a jacket.
I wonder what other people feel around them, maybe the same as me..?
I wish that people can experience this moment, this moment that fills me with joy.
I hope that people can enjoy time outside more often, it’s a great feeling.
I will enjoy nature more often, starting now.
