The Maze Runner Review

If you are stuck and don’t know what to read, read The Maze Runner series by James Danasher . These books are outstanding. There are four books in the series The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, The Death Cure, and The Kill Order. All four books keep you on the edge of your seat. If you liked The Hunger Games or The Divergent series you will love the action and breathtaking parts of this book The Maze Runner.

Thomas,  the main character wakes up in a rising cage with his memory wiped.  The cage stops and opens open ups, He see’s a lot of boys but around those boys there is 400 foot stone wall and outside the wall there is a giant maze. After a couple days Thomas learns a lot. He learns that he needs a job, that there is escape rout of the maze and they just haven’t found it, and he has learned some rules and the number one rule is to never go outside the walls, never go in the maze.

You are probably wondering why you can’t go out in the maze especially during the night. Every night before dark there are huge doors that close, there are big,  mean, black, robotic bugs called grievers. It’s no average size insect, they are a average size between a lion and a elephant, and if you get stung by this thing you go through the changing and it’s painful. Well Thomas didn’t follow the rules and went out into the maze to save a life and you’ll have to read the book to see if he succeeds and makes it .

My main point is you have to read this book, it is intense, crazy, breathtaking, and full of action. You’ll be hooked from the moment you start. This book is worth 15 accelerated reader points and is worth the 375 pages. This series wraps you up and makes you’ll feel you are in the maze, the details James Danasher gives you are amazing. If you don’t know what to read, you half to read this series.

  1. I love The Maze Runner series, it is my favorite book series ever. I find this to be a great review of the book, and I agree with you that this is an outstanding book!

  2. You did a good job on the review, but I noticed a spelling mistake; “My main point is you half to read this book”, it should be; “My main point is you have to read this book”.
